Lesson · Word 3

Question

Question everything. Not with cynicism, but with curiosity. Not to tear down, but to understand. Not to prove others wrong, but to discover truth.

Most of what you believe was not carefully reasoned. It was inherited—from parents, culture, education, media, peers. Some of these beliefs serve you well. Others limit you. But you will not know which is which unless you examine them.

Questioning is not rejecting. It is investigating. When you question a belief, you are not necessarily abandoning it. You are testing it. Does this belief hold up under scrutiny? Is it based on evidence or assumption? Does it serve me or limit me?

"What question are you avoiding asking yourself, and what would it cost to finally ask it?"
