Patience

Patience is trusting timing. It is understanding that growth cannot be rushed, that some processes require time, that forcing results often destroys them.

We live in an age of instant gratification. We expect immediate answers, rapid results, quick fixes. But meaningful things—relationships, skills, wisdom, character—cannot be microwaved. They must be slow-cooked.

Consider a tree. You cannot make it grow faster by pulling on its branches. You can provide good soil, water, and sunlight, but growth happens at its own pace. The tree does not worry about how tall it is today compared to yesterday. It simply grows, patiently, toward the light.

"What are you rushing that would benefit from time, and what are you afraid would happen if you slowed down?"
